The conference will be held this year in Austin, Texas on October 18-20, and Oregon Chapter members have an opportunity to apply for 2 scholarships!  Our Platinum and Gold Business Partners provide these opportunities for our chapter members – be sure to thank them!  They are:  Kelley Imaging Systems, Pacific Office Automation, Cushman & Wakefield, and Heritage Bank. 

 SCHOLARSHIP 1:  First Time Conference Attendee.  If you have never attended an ALA conference, you may apply for this $1,500 scholarship.

 SCHOLARSHIP 2:  Any member may apply for this $1,500 scholarship. 

Please send me an email at: no later than 10 am on Friday, 7/20/18 if you wish to be entered into the drawing, and make sure to let me know if you are a 1st time conference attendee.  The two names will be drawn, and the recipients will receive an email listing the winning entries no later than end of day Monday, July 23rd.

Scholarship recipients should register for the conference before the early bird registration deadline (September 6th is the early bird registration deadline for the conference).  Scholarships will help cover: reimbursement for registration ($579) and hotel accommodations for Thursday and Friday nights ($628).  The conferences begins at 1 pm on Thursday, and ends at 1 pm on Saturday
