As employers prepare for Oregon’s new Pay Equity law to go into effect on January 1, 2019, many companies are working to attain a comprehensive understanding of how to comply with H.B. 2005 and its requirements. With rulemaking almost complete, please join Barran Liebman Co-Managing Partner Andrew Schpak for an interactive discussion of what the law requires, how the regulations are shaping up, best practices for completing an Equal Pay Analysis that will minimize legal risk, and strategies for addressing pay discrepancies when they are discovered.  


Andrew Schpak has been exclusively representing management in employment litigation and providing advice in employment matters for over thirteen years.  He works with government entities, businesses of all sizes, and non-profit organizations.  Andrew drafts and updates workplace policies and employee handbooks, provides workplace training, and advises clients on employment issues when they arise.  He also drafts, reviews, and negotiates employment, partnership, and independent contractor agreements, as well as confidentiality, non-solicitation, and non-competition agreements.  Andrew spends the majority of his time representing clients before state and federal administrative agencies and in state and federal court proceedings.
