The Peer Connection Program matches new (or interested) members with experienced member volunteers to ensure new members feel welcome and have immediate access to someone who can help introduce and orient them to the Oregon chapter. The Oregon Chapter of the ALA is happy to announce that we have been awarded the 2025 Presidents’ Award of Excellence program. This program is designed to encourage chapters to take effective and collaborative action in support of ALA’s mission to promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the legal management team, improve the quality of management in law firms and other legal service organizations, and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal industry and the community at large. The chapter would like to extend a huge thank you to Past President Nakia Bradley-Lawson, the board and all members who assisted in the accomplishments in the last year which were sufficient to achieve the Presidents' Award.
